M.Sc. degree in the Electric Engineering school of the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, in the field of signal processing. Ph.D. in a collaboration involving UFRJ / CERN, at the ATLAS experiment. Activities at the LSD: design of analog and digital systems for signal processing and data acquisition of radiation detectors, optimization of electronic circuits with the insertion of new technologies available in the market, software development for data acquisition systems.

Physicist, graduated in the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Master degree concluded at CBPF. Phd thesis developed at LSD in the field of radiation detection, imaging and measurement using microstructures (GEMs).
Activities at the LSD: detectors characterization, design of charge and voltage pre-amplifiers, development of a GEM-based detector using a multilayer printed circuit board as position sensing electrode, and development of a large area position sensitive detector.

Activities at the LSD: computer aided design of mechanical parts, development of software packages for data and image acquisition, computeder aided design of electronic hardware, programming under the Delphi environments, C++.

applied to crystallography. Activities at LSD: crystallography studies,
development of new measurement methods and related software.

presently finishing MSc. thesis in CBPF. Thesis work related to the development
of cosmic rays detection station, including the characterization of water
Cerenkov tank prototype and the implementation of a waveform digitizer.
