| The Seventh International Conference on Materials and Mechanisms of Superconductivity and High Temperature Superconductors (M2S-HTSC-VII) will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from Sunday, May 25 to Friday, May 30, 2003. Designated M2S-RIO, this conference belongs to the series initiated in 1988 by Prof. Alex Müller at Interlaken, Switzerland, and followed by those in Palo Alto, USA (1989), Kanazawa, Japan (1991), Grenoble, France (1994), Beijing, China (1997) and Houston, USA (2000). M2S-RIO will take place at Hotel InterContinental – located at the famous São Conrado beach in one of the most beautiful areas of the city. The hotel is equipped with great conference facilities and is ideally suited for business conferences and international events. Transportation between the other conference hotels and InterContinental will be provided.
